YEREVAN. – A number of people who are dissatisfied with the banking system in Armenia are protesting in front of the main government building—and together with activist Manuel Manukyan.
They wanted to hold a sit-in right outside the building, but the police did not allow them to sit on the stairs.
So the demonstrators held their sit-in in front of the government building.
Manukyan again urged the people to join the sit-in as one.
For a long time now, a number of people have been protesting against the banking system and credit organizations in Armenia, considering the annual interest rates on loans provided by them to be particularly problematic.
