YEREVAN. – One armed mercenary has been remanded in custody, and a petition was submitted to the court to arrest the other mercenary. Artur Melikyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, said this in a conversation with reporters Wednesday.

"The significance of the criminal case under investigation at the Investigative Committee is great—both politically and legally. The evidence obtained in this case will be used in the intermediate and final stages of the investigation; in my opinion, both during the discussions in the political field and in the legal platforms. Let’s wait patiently and you will see with what evidence, what factual circumstances are substantiated," Melikyan added.
