An incident took place in front of the National Assembly where citizens have been protesting against the handover of the lands of Artsakh for several hours now.

While they were holding the rally, there was smoke that most likely came from a smoke device.

The gathered caused a commotion for a moment since they thought the police were applying special means, but the police told them that they had nothing to do with the incident. A police officer said a citizen had thrown a smoke grenade and that police had caught the person and taken him to the police station. The police officer added that the smoke grenade had been thrown directly at the police.

In his turn, representative of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party Ishkhan Saghatelyan said this was a provocation on the part of Nikol Pashinyan who is inciting clashes in the country and called on citizens to not give in to provocations.
