39-story casinos and the Trump Plaza Hotel, owned by ex-US President Donald Trump, were blown up in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 

According to local media reports, many residents of the city came to see the demolition of the famous building.

The rubble will be cleared by June 10. Additional parts of the casino-hotel complex, including administrative and utility outbuildings, will be demolished soon with the use of heavy equipment.

The establishment was opened in May 1984 and became the tenth in the city. In 2014, the casino was closed, and ownership of it passed from Trump Entertainment Resorts to Icahn Enterprises.
