YEREVAN. – A demonstration is taking place Friday at the service entrance—at Derenik Demirchyan Street—of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, the purpose of which is to meet the pro-government MPs leaving the NA building from there and to ask them questions.
"I am here to ask many of the MPs who dare to walk along this street whether they like these illegalities that are happening [in Armenia]," Gegham Manukyan, a member of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, and who is at this protest site with his family, told reporters.
As reported earlier, it was at Manukyan's call that the people have gathered at the service entrance of the NA. In a Facebook post, he had urged the citizens to join him there at 3pm on Friday.
