The consequences of the shooting are present in the territory of the plant. But whether there were traces of shooting in residential areas or not, we cannot say that; we do not have such information. Colonel Sasun Badasyan, commander of an army corps of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia, told this to reporters Thursday in Yeraskh village of Ararat Province.

"The adversary [i.e. Azerbaijan] constantly violates the ceasefire regime, and we continue to perform our service in maintaining the state border," added Badasyan.

A group of representatives of accredited embassies in Armenia are visiting Yeraskh.

They asked Sasun Badasyan why they came to this place in particular, and what they could see here, to which the aforesaid army corps commander responded as follows: "Now we are 400 meters away from the border [with Azerbaijan]. Two employees [of the aforesaid plant], who are Indian citizens, were wounded here [by Azerbaijani shooting]. They are not included in the military service, they work in this plant."

The foreign diplomats asked exactly on which side the border is and how the Azerbaijanis had shot from there.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia announced Tuesday that the Azerbaijani side opened fire in the direction of the metallurgical plant being built with foreign investment in Yeraskh. And as a result, two Indian citizens were wounded.

Ambassadors, military attachés, and diplomats from about 40 countries visited Yeraskh village Thursday to get familiarized with the consequences of the shots fired from the Nakhichevan section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on Wednesday and Tuesday. Among these foreign diplomats are the ambassadors of the European Union, France, Germany, China, and several other countries.
