I do not share the view that the economic boom in Armenia is only a result of the coming of those who have relocated. Naturally, the Armenian government and we, with our political team, are doing everything to make Armenia an appealing environment for living, working, and creating, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"It is as a result of the work done on that environment that the people who had to leave Russia have chosen Armenia. They did not go to, say, Azerbaijan, many other countries. Armenia is one of the main beneficiaries of this migration. Our steps are aimed at showing the world that Armenia is a good place to be engaged in IT," Kerobyan said.

And to the question whether the economic growth boom will continue in Armenia, the minister answered: "In 2024, the government also projected a 7 percent economic growth. I don't hide [that] there are challenges, but there are also many opportunities which if implemented properly, we again will reach our target."
