YEREVAN. – “We Will not Keep Silence” youth initiative presents phone interview with French-Armenian businessman, philanthropist Levon Hayrapetyan. He makes some big statements regarding huge corruption, illiteracy in the state system and established oligarchy in Armenia. He believes these are the major evils for Armenia.

Hayrapetyan referred to famous singer Charles Aznavour’s scandalous interview, as well as dissipated lifestyle of high ranking army officers in Armenia.

He condemned the ‘philanthropist’ oligarchs. He claims that oligarchs make their political future, and give only trifle money back, which is either robbed from people or unpaid taxes. According to the philanthropist, the best business in Armenia is running an administrative business, unfortunately.

Hayrapetyan desires to see a qualified revolution, which will not affect the external security of the state. We should take the international experience and put everything in order. The major businesses should not be in the last ones of paying taxes. Half year is enough to put the state in order. Besides, not people but artificial oligarchs should migrate, he concluded.
