It is not about hope and hopelessness. That is our work, and we intend to do that work consistently. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while speaking with reporters Wednesday—and in response to the question whether he hopes that the peace agreement with Azerbaijan will be signed this year.

“Well, I believe I touched on that topic in detail yesterday in my speech. And I believe nothing new has been formed since yesterday to say today. And we should continue with that logic,” Pashinyan noted.

According to him, that is the work of the government, and the latter should continue it consistently.

“In general, not only in international, but also in domestic logic, it is not the case that the programs that we put on the table or adopt are immediately implemented (…). Programs require effort, they require consistency, they require a complete study of the circumstances. That is our work, that is our agenda, and we must engage in that work," added the Armenian PM.
