The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an expanded format has begun Sunday in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Let us recall that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who has arrived in Russia on a two-day visit, is also taking part in the meeting. The meeting is being held under the chairmanship of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

Separately, an informal summit of the CIS countries’ leaders is scheduled for Monday. Earlier, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin would hold separate meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev within the framework of these events.
