A technico-military cooperation agreement was signed between Armenia and Poland today. It was signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries, after which the prime ministers of the two countries, Nikol Pashinyan and Donald Tusk, made statements.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk noted as follows: “My friend, my good friend Nikol Pashinyan, we are very happy that today we can meet in Warsaw on the very anniversary of Poland’s establishment of diplomatic relations with Armenia on February 26, 1992.

At that time, Poland encouraged those states that were building their independence. It was a time when we sensed historical similarities, correct perceptions of history, threats to our countries.

Today I can note that Armenian-Polish relations and our personal relations are friendly, without preconditions. We have similar goals, Armenians are highly valued in Poland.

I know how much effort was needed to realize that political vision. In the conditions of Russian aggression against Ukraine, this is a very rare phenomenon, and you should set an example for that political path.

Also, the entire society should be presented that peace is extremely important. It is a difficult path that requires a lot of work. I highly appreciate your efforts in this direction.

I wish the Armenian people and you personally success on that path
