The examination of the criminal case against third president Serzh Sargsyan resumed Wednesday at the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia.
According to the indictment, Sargsyan, while serving as the Minister of Defense of Armenia—from May 20, 2000 to April 4, 2007, had illegally alienated land plots in Yerevan.
In addition, on November 5, 2025, the prosecution had initiated a public criminal prosecution against Serzh Sargsyan on charges of taking a large bribe.
