YEREVAN. – Estonians want to extend a hand of friendship to the Armenian people and return Armenia to the information space of Estonia and other neighboring countries.

On June 12, two charter flights from Estonia brought over 360 guests to Armenia within the framework of “Everyone goes to Yerevan” program.

For centuries, the Armenian and Estonian people were linked by mutual interest and sincere friendship despite being thousands of miles away, organizer Meelis Kubits said during the Wednesday press conference.

Among the guests is also Vice Mayor of Tallinn Kalle Klandorf.

“This event has great impor tance for the history of the two nations, and will unite our people,” he said.

Member of the Estonian parliament Igor Gräzin said they had come to Armenia not as government delegates, but as ordinary Estonians, and their goal is to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The events will be held in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor.
