Kazakhstan is ready to sign roadmap on Armenia’s accession to Customs Union but with a particular opinion, as this demands explanations on the Customs Union borders in connection with the problem of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by President of Kazakstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow, Kremlin press service reported.

“The roadmap for Armenia has been in general agreed, I think it is possible to accept it. However, the question of the borderline of the Customs Union, where it will pass in Armenia in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is still open.

Therefore, we will work with colleagues to sign a roadmap, but with the particular opinion, which will be reported,” he said.
