YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received an invitation to participate in the meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held in Astana.

“Yes, the President was invited to the May 29 meeting,”  head of president's staff Vigen Sargsyan told reporters on Tuesday.
 
During the meeting, the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan plan to sign a treaty on Eurasian Economic Council that will come into effect from January 1, 2015.
