Ukraine’s Ambassador Ivan Kukhta returned to Armenia, official at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told RBK-Ukraina.

“In fact he took up his duties this week,” Evgeny Perebiynis said.

The decision was made after President Serzh Sargsyan sent congratulatory message to newly elected President Petro Poroshenko.

“The Armenian side welcomed elections of the President of Ukraine and expressed hope for constructive cooperation,” he said.

The Ambassador was recalled to Kyiv in March after Serzh Sargsyan gave positive assessment of Crimea referendum.
