A digitally restored version of Armenian director Sergei Parajanov’s world-renowned “Color of Pomegranates” will be screened at the London film festival 2014 this week, The Guardian daily reported.

When Martin Scorsese introduced the newly restored version of this movie at the Toronto film festival in September, he told the audience they were going to witness images and visions “pretty much unlike anything in cinema history.”

The daily also recalled that “Color of Pomegranates” was voted 84th best of all-time in the most recent Sight & Sound magazine greatest movies poll.
