YEREVAN. – The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, on Tuesday received Lebanese Ambassador Jean Makaron.

The Ministry of Justice informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Hovhannisyan highly praised the Armenia-Lebanon relations and mutual trust, but noted that there are still things to do develop collaboration between the justice ministries of the two countries. Also, the Armenian minister expressed readiness to take steps toward deepening bilateral cooperation in the domain of justice.

Ambassador Makaron, for his part, expressed a conviction that the Ministry of Justice of Armenia can become a good partner in making the existing relations grow deeper. The Lebanese diplomat likewise underscored the need to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two justice ministries, and assured that respective steps will be taken.
