YEREVAN. – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Saturday had telephonic conversations with his Russian colleague, the European Union (EU) Special Representative, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs, and Personal Representative to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, and in connection with the aggravation of the situation.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Tigran Balayan, informed about the aforementioned on his Facebook account.

As reported earlier, Azerbaijan launched outright offensive military actions along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from late Friday night through Saturday morning, and using a variety of weaponry as well as artillery, armored vehicles, and air force.

As a result, a 12-year-old Armenian boy was killed, and two other children were wounded.

The Armenian armed forces, however, have destroyed three tanks and three armored vehicles and downed two military helicopters and two drones of the adversary.
