The German government has provided 2.3 million euros to the German charitable organization Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe for humanitarian projects in Ukraine. The company will allot 260 thousand euros of its own funds for these projects. The amount will be used in 2017-2018 for the implementation of humanitarian projects, reports DW.

The main activity of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe is distribution of food, hygiene products, and essentials. It also provides psychological assistance, organizes trainings and classes. Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe received 2.5 million euros in 2015-2016 from the German government for projects in Ukraine as well.
