On January 27 at the Ukrainian Nikolaev regional museum there has taken place an exhibition dedicated to the great marine artist Hovhannes Aivazovsky, reported AnalitikaUA.net.

The project was implemented with the support of the head of Nikolaev region’s Union of Armenians Arthur Kokhlikyan. In the first half of this year, within the framework of the exhibitions, there will be presented reproductions of Aivazovsky’s paintings. The presentation will be accompanied by lectures about the great painter's biography and career.

9 original paintings stored at Nikolaev Museum will be introduced to the audience as well. The Union of Armenians of Ukraine is actively working at spreading national historic values, as, according to the president of the Union Vilen Shatvoryan, "the traditional culture is in the focus of our organization."
