The average age of men getting married in Armenia is 29.4 now, Head of the Census and Demography Division at the National Statistical Service, Karine Kuyumjyan told reporters on Wednesday.

According to her, years earlier the average age of marriages was 25.5.

“The average age of getting married used to be 22, now it is 26.2. Besides, 72-73% of women who are getting married are in 20-29 age group, while 65% of men are in 25-30 age group,” Kuyumjyan noted.
