YEREVAN. – The first ARMENIA International Music Festival and Competition will be held between July 4 and 12 in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

This event is an initiative of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia (SYOA) and the European Foundation for Support of Culture, SYOA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Pianists up to 34 years of age can take part in this competition. 

The prize fund of this event is 20,000 euros: €10,000 for the first prize, €5,000 for the second prize, €3,000 for the third prize, and €2,000 for the special prize.

The panel of judges will comprise five famous musicians-performers from various countries. 

The five best pianists will have the unique opportunity to participate in the Malta International Music Festival 2018.
