The Christian religious leaders still hold the doors of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher closed as a sign of protest over Israeli tax measures, Armenian News- NEWS.am reported.

Protesters gathered near the church on Tuesday to voice their discontent at the Israeli authorities’ actions

Greek-Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox and Catholics churches decided to take that step as a measure of protest, until Israel authorities decide to cancel their decision. The Jerusalem authorities require paying municipal tax from all their real estate, having imposed a penalty for the previous years.
