At least one person was killed when a man took hostages at a supermarket in Trebes, in south France on Friday, said Mayor Eric Menassi, Reuters reported.
According to him, the attacker was now alone with a police officer and all other hostages has been freed.
As reported earlier, the attacker has claimed allegiance to Islamic State.
