A delegation from Beijing Defense Company of China was in Armenia, from Monday to Friday, to discuss Armenian-Chinese technico-military cooperation.

The delegation held respective talks with several defense and military officials of Armenia.

Deputy Defense Minister Makar Ghambaryan also received this Chinese delegation. They discussed the opportunities for the Beijing Defense Company’s supplying appropriate outfits for the engineering divisions of Armenia’s peacekeeping forces, as well as equipment for the detection and neutralization of improvised explosive devices.

Also, the delegation from China paid visits to the Armenian Center for Humanitarian Demining & Expertise, and the Peacekeeping Forces Brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces.
