Deutsche Bank loaned over $2 billion to the US President Donald Trump before he became the president, The New York Times reported.
According to the source, those loans were granted to Trump for several years.
Initially Deutsche Bank refused to cooperate with Trump amid his bankruptcies.
At the same time in 2005, the bank gave Trump a loan for a skyscraper for over $500 million guaranteed by $40 million.
However, Trump was unable to repay this loan due to the 2008 financial crisis.
