The plane of President Prokopis Pavlopoulos was unable to land in Chania, in the Greek island of Crete, due to strong winds, local media reported.

As a result, its pilots had to change the arrival airport, the aircraft landed in Crete’s capital city Heraklion, and the president had to get to his intended destination by car.
