Ukraine's MFA has summoned Iranian Ambassador Manouchehr Moradi because of Iran’s attempts to damage the investigation into the crash of the plane shot down by an Iranian missile near Tehran Airport, eurointegration.com.ua reported referring to a diplomatic source.

Ukrainian diplomats claim that Iran is making efforts to create problems between states whose citizens are victims of this attack. 

“The ambassador of Iran is invited to the MFA," the source noted.

Earlier, the media reported that Iran refused to send black boxes of a passenger plane shot down in January near Tehran to Ukraine.

The plane of Ukraine International Airlines crashed a few minutes after taking off from Tehran to Kyiv on the morning of January 8, leaving all 176 people onboard killed.

Iran fully admitted guilt for the downed plane, calling the incident the result of human error.
