YEREVAN. – Gazprom Armenia CJSC considers it necessary to increase the average price of natural gas to up to $275 per 1,000 cubic meters. Gazprom Armenia CEO Hrant Tadevosyan stated this Friday during a discussion at the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
To note, the PSRC had offered an average price of $266.7 per 1,000 cubic meters.
"The proposed tariff is not enough to ensure gas supply services. Please present in writing the basis for reducing the costs by up to 8.3 billion drams. In particular, it refers to the cutback of 2,000 employees and a 50% reduction in the list of raw materials by 2024," he said.
Tadevosyan added that additional discussions should be held regarding this matter.
