Iran has declared its readiness to start bilateral talks with Ukraine over the downed Ukrainian plane from July 20, Interfax-Ukraine reported referring to Iran’s embassy in Ukraine.

According to 112 international, the Iranian side did not leave notes of Ukraine unanswered - these answers were either given by official notes, or at official meetings of Iran's leadership with Ukraine's envoy to Iran, as well as at meetings of the Iranian envoy with the Ukrainian leadership.

The embassy's statement runs as follows:

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stated its readiness to negotiate with the Ukrainian side, guided by current international law related to this issue, and full, comprehensive texts have been submitted to the Ukrainian side in recent months, but so far this has remained unanswered."
