Thailand is considering establishing a special tourist visa for foreigners, The Star reports, according to Head of the Tourism Department of Thailand Yutasak Supasorn.
According to him, the initial visa is issued for 90 days, but may be extended twice for the same period, meaning the maximum period for stay in the country will be 270 days. This visa is convenient for tourists who reside in Thailand for a long period.
