The activities of the Turkish nationalist Gray Wolves will be officially banned in France as of today. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Mr. Jonathan Lacote, informed me about this important decision today. The Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, on Wednesday wrote this on Facebook.

"During the meeting, I presented facts about the atrocities and cruelties (…) of the Azerbaijani armed forces against the civilians, the massive destruction of civilian infrastructures [in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)].

French Ambassador to Armenia J. Lacote strongly condemned the cases of vandalism and attack on ethnic Armenians, and informed that today the Council of Ministers of France has made a decision to ban in France the activities of the Turkish nationalist Gray Wolves (Bozkurt) organization—for carrying out extreme nationalist activities, and carrying out attacks on ethnic Armenian citizens of France and citizens of Armenia in the last week, and making calls for incitement to hatred," Tatoyan added in particular.
