Head of the Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Father Vahram Melikyan yesterday reported that Dadivank Monastery is already under the control of Russian peacekeepers and is not at risk.

Today Yerevan.Today’s sources in Moscow reported that yesterday President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held phone talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and told him that Dadivank Monastery and the Holy Savior Ghazanchetsots Cathedral will be under his protection.

On November 9, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev adopted a joint statement on the cessation of hostilities. Based on the statement, a peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation shall be deployed along the length of the line of contact of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor, alongside which the Armenian armed forces shall be withdrawn.
