The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Ann Linde on Tuesday visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

“Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian welcomed Ann Linde, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office & Foreign Minister of Sweden,” foreign ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan wrote on Facebook, and posted a respective photo. 

Earlier it was noted that Linde on Tuesday will have meetings in the capital Yerevan with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Armen Sarkissian, and Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian.

“Linde will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian and President Sarkissian for talks focused on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the OSCE’s continued role in the conflict resolution process. Discussions will also include how to strengthen the co-operation between the OSCE and Armenia,” the OSCE had noted in a statement.

The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office will also meet with civil society.

Within the framework of a regional visit, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde had left for Azerbaijan on March 14, and met with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
