The Prosecutor General’s Office of Tajikistan has launched a criminal case against a group of servicemen and citizens of Kyrgyzstan for unleashing an aggressive war, RIA Novosti reports.

The case was launched under the elements of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan (unleashing or aggressive war; murder of two or more people, including murder linked to official activities).

RIA Novosti also reports that an operational investigative group has been set up for inquest. This morning, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan finished recalling their units from the border.

Earlier, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Zhaparov had declared that the country’s territorial integrity was at risk due to the conflict with Tajikistan and had proposed to set up a commission to help maintain peace.
