During an interview on Armenian Public Television, leader of the “Armenian Eagles, United Armenia” political party Khachik Asryan is terminating his election campaign and says the political party won’t be running in the snap parliamentary elections.

Asryan stated that snap elections can’t be held across the country since certain territories are occupied, meaning the snap elections need to be canceled.

Asryan said he is terminating the election campaign due to the danger posing a threat to Armenia’s territorial integrity and called on uniting to cancel the elections, remove the Azerbaijanis from the territory of Armenia through combined efforts and hold snap elections since Armenia’s territorial integrity and national security are more important than any election.
