Firefighters pulled an American woman out of a street toilet, where she fell after the phone, CNN reports.

The incident took place on Mount Walker in the Olympic National Park in Washington state.

After dropping the phone into the toilet, the woman dismantled the seat and body of the outdoor booth, trying to get to the gadget. She used a dog leash to try and catch him. Then the woman tied herself with a leash - this time for insurance - and reached down for the phone. As a result, the woman fell into the pit.

For about 20 minutes, the woman was looking for a phone at the bottom of the toilet. When she succeeded, she called 911. The firefighters who arrived to help lowered blocks into the pit, on which she stood and was able to reach for her lowered seat belt.

According to the fire department, the woman was washed and given clean clothes. She refused the medical examination offered to her and left.
