Member of the Armenian delegation to PACE, head of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Armen Gevorgyan and PACE President Tiny Kox discussed recent developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

In a separate meeting, Gevorgyan and Kox discussed the need to ensure guarantees for Gevorgyan's parliamentary activities in the context of Armenia's commitments, the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration informed NEWS.am. The direct participation of Armen Gevorgyan in the works of PACE was mutually highlighted.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed regional developments, particularly the issue of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the necessary attention of the Council of Europe to the solution of that issue.

The sides highlighted the consistent institutional work of the opposition with the PACE structure in order to have full information about the events taking place in Armenia.
