The opposition rally kicked off in the center of Yerevan on Tuesday.

It started in France Square with a performance of the famous singer Sirusho. The singer's husband - son of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, Levon Kocharyan, was apprehended for disobedience and later was released.

Mass protests were held throughout Yerevan and Armenia's provinces on Tuesday. Crossroads were blocked and traffic was paralyzed.
