Turkey has proposed to hold another meeting to normalize relations with Armenia either in Ankara or Yerevan, a diplomatic source in Ankara told RIA Novosti.

"If we are talking about the process of normalization of relations between the two countries, it would be logical for the negotiations to be held without the participation of third countries, forces. We have proposed to hold the meeting in Ankara or Yerevan, but so far we have not received an answer," said the interlocutor of the aforesaid Russian news agency.

According to him, one of the obstacles to the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia is the pressure by the Armenian diaspora.

"In some cases, the process is being sabotaged. But we hope that the normalization process will continue," added the source.
