Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan (part of KMC Astana Motors) will suspend production of Hyundai Assept and Hyundai Creta models due to the termination of supply of components from Russia, Interfax reported with reference to the press service of KMC Astana Motors.

Due to the geopolitical situation, the supply of components from the Russian Federation stopped in the spring. All this time the company worked on reserves, and also agreed with Hyundai Motor Company on an emergency quota for the supply of components from other countries. At the moment the issue of further supplies and new logistics chains is being worked out, the report says.

All components available at the plant have been mastered. New deliveries are not expected in the near future.

"Astana Motors" is the first company in Kazakhstan, which sells and provides maintenance service of cars since 1992. The subsidiaries of Astana Motors are the commercial vehicles plant Hyundai Trans Almaty and the passenger cars plant Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan.
