Turkey believes that comprehensive peace is possible between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, speaking at the UNGA.

"We believe it is possible to sign a comprehensive peace agreement between the two countries as soon as possible," Erdogan said, "Azerbaijan has liberated the occupied lands. And we have a historic opportunity to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Turkey supports processes between Azerbaijan and Armenia. And we have taken significant steps in that direction. The recent conflict has cast a shadow over these opportunities, but we believe that peace can be established between these countries. We will always support Azerbaijan."

He also said in his remarks that resuming transportation links in the region would contribute to the well-being of all parties. Those who pursue to demonstrate power in the region, despite their political and military level not comparable to our country, are making fools of themselves, Reuters reported.
