Eight people have been arrested in the criminal case of the terrorist attack on the bridge crossing the Kerch Strait, five of them are Russian, and three are Ukrainian and Armenian citizens, informed the Public Relations Center (PRC) of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

"The plotter of the terrorist operation at the Crimean Bridge is the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, its chief Kyrylo Budanov, employees and agency network. The explosive was found in 22 rolls of construction polyethylene film, with a total weight of 22,770 kilograms," the respective press release stated.

Accordingly, at the beginning of August, the cargo was sent from the Odessa port to the Bulgarian Ruse port. It was sent from Bulgaria to Armenia through the Georgian port of Poti. Ukrainian citizens Mykhaylo Tsyurkalo, Denis Kovach and Roman Solomko, Georgian citizens Sandro Inosaridze and the broker named "Levan," as well as Armenian citizen Artur Terjanyan participated in the transportation of this cargo. ։

The "ГУ АР ДЖИ ГРУП" LLC (Alaverdi, Armenia,) became the shipper, and the "Leader" LLC (Moscow) became the recipient of this cargo.

"The rolls were loaded into the truck of Mahir Yusubov, a Russian citizen, born in 1971, who left for Simferopol. And on October 8, 2022, at 06:03, an explosion was carried out in the direction of the Crimean Bridge," the FSB added, in particular.
