A number of changes to laws were approved—in the second and final reading—at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia.
In addition, the MPs passed several other bills in the first reading.
Also, the lawmakers ratified the Additional Financing of the Education Improvement Project loan agreement between Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
To note, one of the two opposition factions returned to the NA after a long break and participated in the voting of the aforesaid law initiatives submitted to the parliament.
We are talking about the "With Honor" Faction, which includes the representatives of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
These opposition MPs, however, voted against all the tabled bills.
