At its plenary session Wednesday, the European Parliament adopted, with the overwhelming majority, the Report on 2022 Commission Report on Turkey, which "supports normalization of relations between Armenia & Türkiye in the interest of reconciliation, regional stability & security," the embassy of Armenia in Belgium and Mission to the EU informed on X—former Twitter.

Also, the European Parliament welcomed the respective progress recorded so far, and approved the attendance of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the inauguration of the newly elected President of Turkey.
