When we talk about Armenia being a gateway to the Eurasian Economic Union or the United Arab Emirates being a global trade hub, it is naturally assumed that the companies of those two countries will also carry out solely intermediary re-export activities. Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan told this to reporters before the start of the Armenian-Emirati business forum Monday.
"Everything is normal there, and I want to say that the Armenian government is doing everything to ensure that companies operating in Armenia do not fall under secondary sanctions. With our toolkit, we are trying to rule out the trade of sanctioned goods, which can hit both the companies and the economy," emphasized the minister.
