Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Tuesday met with Bujar Osmani, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The focus of the meeting was on the most serious security and humanitarian issues that have emerged as a result of the large-scale military aggression being carried out by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh since Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

FM Mirzoyan noted that Azerbaijan, guided by the feeling of impunity, perceives the lack of deterrent steps by international organizations as permissiveness, and seeks to carry out Armenian ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh through the use of open force.

Also, the Armenian FM emphasized the importance of the urgent launch of relevant OSCE mechanisms.
