The situation is tense in front of the government building with the police detaining citizens who demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over his handling of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The situation heated up for a moment. A fight broke out between the police and the citizens, after which the police started detaining protesters.

The police officers armed with shields formed a wall in several rows. They urge the protesters not to do illegal actions; otherwise they will resort to special actions.

A large number of protesters returned to the government building after carrying out actions of disobedience and blocked various streets in central Yerevan. There is heavy police presence in Republic Square as demonstrators chant "Nikol the traitor", referring to Armenia’s prime minister.
