A little while ago, Andranik Tevanyan, head of the opposition Mother Armenia bloc, left the building of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

He was greeted with applause, after which a spontaneous march began with the participation of citizens.

Tevanyan commented his being detained as a test investigative battle.

The police had detained Andranik Tevanyan while carrying a protest action at a Yerevan.

Since this morning, Tevanyan and numerous other opposition activists have been carrying out actions of civil disobedience in the Armenian capital.

At the moment, such protest actions are taking place in various streets of Yerevan, as well as at Republic Square.

Large-scale protests have started in Yerevan amid the latest Azerbaijani military aggression unleashed against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Tuesday. People demand an answer from the Armenian authorities for their inaction in the Artsakh issue.

Everyone emphasizes that there is genocide in Artsakh today, and therefore immediate action must be taken.
